Homework
A high quality of education requires reinforcement of daily instruction with assignments on a daily basis that become part of the homework routine. Parents are encouraged to establish a definite time and a quiet place for students to study at home.
Homework is assigned to students Monday through Thursday. Grade 1–3 students will have approximately 20-30 minutes a day; Grade 4–6 students 30-60 minutes a day; 7–8 60-90 minutes. Homework assignments will not necessarily be written assignments.
Student Planners
Organization is a critical component to academic success. Students in grades 2-8 will be required to buy a student planner from our office. Planners cost $5 each. Students are required to write their assignments and test dates, etc., in their planners. Parents are to check the children’s planners everyday to insure that the child is writing the homework assignments and test information.
